Antonio is a prominent figure in the Luxembourg Funds Industry with a distinguished track record in Corporate Governance and Management Company services. With over 33 years of experience in the International Funds and Asset Management sectors, Antonio has successfully led numerous significant management companies' projects. Most recently, at Nevastar Finance (Luxembourg) SA, he spearheaded the restructuring of the group's Luxembourg-based “Super ManCo” offerings, encompassing both UCITS and AIFM Management Company services. He also played a pivotal role in expanding their 3rd Party Real Estate activities and launching two new platforms for hosted ‘rent a sub compartment’ Alternative Managers.

From February 2014 to September 2016, Antonio served as a Partner at ManagementPlus Luxembourg S.A., where he was instrumental in securing their “Super ManCo” authorization for UCITS and Liquid Alternative strategies. Prior to this, he was Chairman of RBS Fund Services until October 2013, overseeing NatWest Trustee & Depositary Services, the UK's leading Independent Trustee, and RBS (Luxembourg) S.A.

Between March 2009 and October 2012, Antonio was the Managing Director of RBS (Luxembourg) S.A., during which time he grew the company to EUR 25 billion in assets, establishing it as the largest independent 3rd party Management Company in Luxembourg. His earlier tenure included a role as Managing Director of RBS Fund Services (Ireland) Limited, based in Dublin.

From 1992 to 2006, Antonio held various roles at the Foreign & Colonial Group in the UK. His contributions there included supporting the Emerging Markets business, establishing Operational Risk and Product Control functions, and launching and maintaining retail and non-retail investment vehicles across multiple jurisdictions.

Antonio also serves as an Independent Board Director for UCITS and AIFMD vehicles in Luxembourg and has held positions on investment vehicles in Ireland, Mauritius, the Channel Islands, and Cyprus. He is actively involved with the British Chamber of Commerce, ILA, and several ALFI working groups, and has lectured on Fund Governance in Ireland and the UK
